ACZ's Radiochemistry department provides analysis for low-level radioactivity of naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM) in several matrices. ACZ does not accept enriched or mixed waste samples. Our acceptance limit for radioactivity is 250 µRads/hr. Typical projects include groundwater monitoring or remediation at uranium mine/mill sites, Safe Drinking Water Act monitoring, or other groundwater monitoring projects.

ACZ has experience with radiochemical analyses in several different matrices, including drinking water, wastewater, soil, oil, and biota. Our ever-growing Radiochemistry department is responsive and innovative and has been proven to produce top-quality data, as shown on our performance evaluation results.
