Mining |
Geochemistry | |
| Gold- Silver - Copper - Uranium -Molybdenum Soda/Trona ACZ is able to support our mining clients in all areas of environmental analytical services including routine groundwater monitoring, overburden testing, acid-base accounting, acid mine drainage, kinetic testing, and bio accumulation studies. |
||
Petroleum - Petrochemical |
|
| ACZ routinely works with refineries, pipelines and UST sites on monitoring and natural attenuation, site assessments and remediation projects. ACZ has extensive experience serving the Petroleum industry through a variety of projects ranging from long-term monitoring to short-term assessment studies |
Tribal Experience |
Tribal Experience | |
As a leading company dedicated to environmental testing. ACZ is invested in understanding the special testing needs as they relate to environmental Tribal requirements. ACZ’s project experience serving Tribal nations includes: National Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA), Abandoned Metal Mining and Uranium Mine assessments, Acid Rock Draining (ARD) monitoring and cleanup support, low-level metals testing, plant and biota tissue analysis, wetlands monitoring, groundwater & surface water monitoring, soils, land fill monitoring, as well as hazardous waste analysis (RCRA) and UST investigations. |

Biological Tissue |
Biological Tissue | |
Fish - Reptiles - Insects - Small Mammals |
||
| ACZ routinely analyzes plant, animal and fish tissue for radiochemical and trace metal contamination. Due to the sensitivity of native organisms to many low-level man-made contaminants, ACZ protocol includes rigorous QA/QC to provide customers litigation-quality data that will withstand extensive review. | ![]() |

Acid Mine Drainage |
|
ACZ has the expertise to handle the unique matrices associated with acid mine drainage. In addition, ACZ can test the acid producing potential of mine tailings and mine waste rock, as well as perform simulated weathering leaching columns and cells which can help predict what will happen in situ at a mine site. These tests are very valuable tools when planning a cleanup of an old historic abandoned mine site or when evaluating drill cores for a new mine or mine expansion. |
Municipal Landfill and POTW |
|
| ACZ routinely works with Municipal Landfill and POTW sludge monitoring and analysis. We can analyze a wide range of parameters on a variety of matrices including drinking water, surface water, wastewater, groundwater, soil, sludge, and other bio solid material. |
